The NCMMLS Rental Site is Open for Business
The rental site is available here:

There are differences between this site and our MLS system. Notably, there are no offers for compensation and there are far fewer fields. The included fields were determined by the collective contribution of property managers from all four local boards.
All data entered the rental program will automatically be sent to all co-operating websites, such as realtor.com at no additional charge to members. Brokers may opt out of this free service. A complete list of qualified websites will be made available in early September. No data will be transmitted to any of these sites until the broker opts into this service.
You are being provided with a variety of ways to enter data into the new system:
· “Listings’ may be entered one at a time using the traditional input form. This approach is described a bit later in more detail in this document.
· “Listings” may be partially imported from the MLS system if the property is already in the MLS system. How to do this is also described later. These listings will have to be edited once imported, since some fields in the rental database are not in the MLS system. Lease period and rental rates are two examples of such fields. It should also be noted that photos imported from the MLS system will probably need to be replaced since the new site uses a larger format picture more in line with contemporary MLS systems.
· And, for those of you who have more than twenty-five properties, Regional will provide free data entry if you have the ability to send the information as an export out of your property management system. The format for that export is contained in an excel spreadsheet posted on the private website under the “Rentals” tab. After creating your export, email it to: vacationrentalimport@ncmmls.net or longtermrentalimport@ncmmls.net. You may also send us photos for long-term rentals as long as the each have an MLS number matching your longtermrentalimport list. Photos cannot be imported into the vacation rentals…they must be entered manually.
